Letter to the Community: Bob Burns, Candidate for State Rep

Dear Readers:

I first met Bob Burns in a classroom at Affton High School. I remember Bob as being a conscientious, hard-working, fun-loving classmate.  It was several years after high school when I ran across Bob again.  He was on the Affton School Board and was busy trying to help the school district and community.   Twelve years ago I moved into the former City of St. George and found Bob and Diane just a few doors down the street.  Recently, I watched as Bob went door to door in the neighborhood, explaining dis-incorporation, registering voters, cleaning up voter registration lists, and listening to neighbor’s concerns.  I saw him volunteer hours of his time coordinating with St. Louis County staff to make the transition to un-incorporation a smooth one.

Bob is dedicated to his family, friends, and neighbors.  He’s hard-working, committed to keeping local schools and neighborhoods safe, sound, and fiscally responsible.  Bob is devoted to keeping South County a great place to live.

I’m not sure any of us would agree with any candidate on
every issue or every vote.  What I can assure you, though, is that Bob Burns is honest.  He is committed to doing his best to study the issues and make sound decisions in the best interest of those he represents.  If you are looking for someone you can trust, someone who will listen to your concerns, and someone who will do his best for you, then please vote for Bob Burns for State Representative from the 93rd District.

Did Mr. Burns forget to sign his letter?

It seems Cindy Taylor has spent a lot of time following Bob Burns around watching his actions. Just Curious if Cindy "watched" Bob shout down 85 year old citizens at the St. George town hall meeting. Or did Cindy "watch" Bob make his well known statements comparing tea part members to "brown shirts" (click link below for video)? Did Cindy ever watch Bob knock on doors in St. George during the disincorporation effort and get in to shouting matches with folks that didn't agree with him? Did Cindy watch Bob jump into this race at the eleventh hour after and circumvent the candidacy of his opponent AFTER long winded hypocritical rants on the counter-productivity of primaries within the Democratic party? It's a forgone conclusion that Mr. Burns will win this election due to the political demographic of the 93rd, but be forewarned that he is the definitive "wolf in sheep's clothing", special interest kowtowing politician. If you are not a union employee, Bob Burns will not represent you in any way. Check out the video!
