Dear Readers:

I first met Bob Burns in a classroom at Affton High School. I remember Bob as being a conscientious, hard-working, fun-loving classmate.  It was several years after high school when I ran across Bob again.  He was on the Affton School Board and was busy trying to help the school district and community.   Twelve years ago I moved into the former City of St. George and found Bob and Diane just a few doors down the street.  Recently, I watched as Bob went door to door in the neighborhood, explaining dis-incorporation, registering voters, cleaning up voter registration lists, and listening to neighbor’s concerns.  I saw him volunteer hours of his time coordinating with St. Louis County staff to make the transition to un-incorporation a smooth one. 

Bob is dedicated to his family, friends, and neighbors.  He’s hard-working, committed to keeping local schools and neighborhoods safe, sound, and fiscally responsible.  Bob is devoted to keeping South County a great place to live.      

I’m not sure any of us would agree with any candidate on
every issue or every vote.  What I can assure you, though, is that Bob Burns is honest.  He is committed to doing his best to study the issues and make sound decisions in the best interest of those he represents.  If you are looking for someone you can trust, someone who will listen to your concerns, and someone who will do his best for you, then please vote for Bob Burns for State Representative from the 93^rd District.
