A Sappington area man was charged in St. Louis County Circuit Court with burglarizing an Oakville home Sunday.

Shawn Michael Roberts, 18, of the 9800 block of Beirut Drive in the Sappington area of unincorporated St. Louis County, was charged Monday with first-degree burglary.

According to a St. Louis County Police report, Roberts entered a home in the 2800 block of Firelight Drive Sunday as the victim was sleeping.
