Six Affton high school athletes signed to play on collegiate sports teams on Signing Day.
From Cor Jesu:
Jenny Antonacci, a member of the 2012 Cor Jesu State Championship soccer team, will return to the field for one more season this spring before heading to Southeast Missouri State University, where she will play soccer.
Sofia Carretero, a defensive standout on the Midwest Championship field hockey team this past fall, will be heading to DePaul University.
Kathleen Golterman, who captured state championships in both field hockey and soccer at Cor Jesu, will be playing soccer at the University of Dayton.
Elizabeth Horak, the MVP of the 2013 Midwest Championship field hockey team and Post-Dispatch All-Metro Field Hockey Player of the Year, will be heading to Cornell University to play field hockey.
Lauren Spreen, a standout defensive specialist for the Chargers Volleyball team, was selected as MVP by her teammates. She will be playing volleyball at the University at Albany in New York.

From Affton High School:
Daryl Carr, a senior, signed to play football at Missouri Valley College. He was joined by his mother, Leandra Carr, his brother, Jeren Carr, Assistant Football Coach Rob Walker and Head Varsity Football Coach, Dan Oliver.
