Affton Man Out on Bond Charged With Another Theft Related Crime

St. Louis County prosecutors are seeking to revoke his bond on a stealing and fraudulent use of a credit card after police said they found Gary Scaglione with a stolen laptop computer.

An Affton man faces a stealing charge after St. Louis County Police found he had property that was stolen in a burglary on the same day.

Gary M. Scaglione, 30, of the 9900 block of Bunker Hill Drive, was charged Feb. 2 with receiving stolen property, a class C felony.

St. Louis County Police pulled over a car at Interstate 55 and Bayless Avenue on Feb. 1 and found he had a Toshiba laptop that had been stolen a few hours earlier.

Scaglione is being held in St. Louis County jail. Bail was set at $50,000, cash only.

Scaglione had been out of jail on a $5,000 bond for charges of stealing and fraudulent use of a credit card. Prosecutors made a motion Feb. 4 to revoke his bond on those charges after he was charged with receiving stolen property.
