Driver Going 60 MPH on Shrewsbury Ave Arrested
Shrewsbury Police said the south St. Louis city man was driving double the speed limit on Shrewsbury Avenue.
Police arrested a man from south St. Louis city for driving 60 mph on Shrewsbury Avenue at 2 a.m. on Wednesday, August 8.
The man was driving on Shrewsbury Avenue between I-44 and Big Bend Boulevard.
Police arrested the man on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. He did not provide a breath sample and was issued a citation to appear in municipal court.
The speed limit on this stretch of Shrewsbury Avenue is 30 mph.
