Why did the parades stop? There are parades for infidelity and drunkeness, but not peace?Equality?

I saw a small parade this morning on Natural Bridge, then down Lucas and Hunt. It was about 5 or 6 people with a banner and then probably 5 or 6 cop cars and a fire truck. I couldn't figure out what it was but... then I realized. I was wondering if anyone who reads this has any information about it? I can't find the "event" listed anywhere online and I'd like to know if there was a certain group or church or something behind it.
