Meet New Academy Teacher at Lindbergh High School

Mary E. Grobe, one of the newest members of Lindbergh schools, spent part of her summer vacation in China!

 

Lindbergh Schools recently announced that 35 new teachers joined the district for the 2012-2013 school year. Each day, Patch will introduce readers to one of these new educators.

Today meet a new addition to the Academy program at Lindbergh High School. (A photo of Grobe was not available before the beginning of the school year.)

New position: Lindbergh Academy at Lindbergh High School

Professional background: Bachelor of Science Education from Missouri State University; Masters in Education Administration from Missouri Baptist University, Specialist – Missouri Baptist University

What's your most prized possession on your desk, in your office or workspace? iPad

Favorite year of school as a student: Senior year with Mr. Naeger.  Best history teacher ever, which is why I’m a history teacher now

Favorite movie that takes place at a school: “Rudy”

Favorite non-required reading: “The Hunger Games”

When you’re not teaching, you’re ____:  Traveling, spending time with family and friends, or working on finishing my Doctorate degree

What else would you like Lindbergh families to know?: I love to travel and spent eight days in Beijing, China in June.  The Great Wall was my favorite stop on the trip.
