Mugs in the News: The Faces that Made This Week's Crime Headlines
The following mug shots were taken from various Patch crime reports between Jan. 19-25.
Information for Mugs in the News is provided by the St. Charles County and St. Louis County law enforcement agencies. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions taken on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court. If you or a family member are charged or cited and the case is subsequently adjudicated, we encourage you to notify the editor. We will verify and report the outcome.

What a collection of human garbage this is. If they were all scooped up and put in the landfill, we'd all be better off. 95% of those pictured here will contribute zero to our collective welfare, use up vital natural resources (just think, somebody grows the crops, drills and refines the oil, slaughters animals, maintains the power grid and operates the sewer system, and provides free medical care to these useless things) and will, beyond a doubt, make some of us their future victims.

People are innocent until proven guilty. All these people have been just charged with a crime. Is it right to publicize their pictures until they are convicted? Any one's picture could show up here through a misunderstanding or accident.

Um, no. They were arrested by an officer who is knowledgeable in enforcing statutes enacted by the state, county, and local bodies. That officer, as a public servant acting on all of our behalf to protect and enforce the law, is performing a public act. We have a right to know who is being charged by the government with a crime precisely so that the wrongfully arrested will not be convicted. Otherwise we might as well have secret arrests and jailing without any public notice.
You really should look into and truly grasp an understanding of the rights and freedoms that many of your countrymen have shed blood and given their lives for in the last couple hundred years. Do you really think you would like North Korea's system better? They don't even bother with announcing convictions there for bonus points.
These folks here didn't just fall in front of a camera to get on this page.

Now, please do not be too harsh on these gentleman ( not certain about A.D. Johnson ) You have been supporting them and their mamma's for years and obama is trying to find more freebies for them. The best part is that when they get shot the Medical Bill will be paid in full by you and I under obamacare.
