New Board Sworn in at Affton Chamber Meeting

At the last luncheon of the year, the chamber greeted new board members and thanked those stepping down.

The had its last general meeting of the year Thursday at Orlando Gardens on Hoffmeister. At the meeting, several new chamber board members stepped up, while others stepped down.

Mike Bamvakais of Dill, Bamvakais & Newsham, P.C. along with Bob Burtelow of Harster Heating and Air Conditioning, Suzanne Welker of Park Forest Apartments & Townhomes and Jim Slama of the Times Newspapers were all stepping down after many years on the board.

State Rep. Scott Sifton (D-South County) swore in the new officers and the board for the coming year.

Tim Kinealy, a CPA, is the new president of the chamber board, replacing Maureen Clancy-May, superintendent of the Bayless School District. Jake Baretich of J & J Construction & Remodeling was installed as president-elect. Dave Caster of First Community Credit Union was sworn in as vice president. Rachel Lovelace of Neighbors Credit Union is secretary, and Diane Boyer of the E & A CFO Group is treasurer.

The rest of the new board for 2012 includes Marty Carr of Deca Realty, Maureen Clancy-May of the Bayless School District, Captain Mike Dierkes of the St. Louis County Police Department, Terri Ems of Holper’s Pest & Animal Solutions, Chief Jim Fritz of the Affton Fire Protection District, Patricia Gaffney of Rainmaker Sales Support, Kathy Jadlot of Commerce Bank, Andy Jones of Charter Business; Jim Murphy of the Affton License Office, Jerry Reinker of Genworth Financial, Dan Roper of Edward Jones, Fonda Totten of F2 Garage Door Solutions and Tim Weinmann of Kenrick’s Meat & Catering.
