Friday, May 13
Shrewsbury police were called to investigate a disturbance in the 7100 block Weil Avenue between a brother and a sister. During a verbal argument, the man grabbed his sister and struggled with her. The man was arrested.
In a robbery in the 4700 block of Heidelberg Avenue in Affton, a change jar and checks were stolen.
Saturday, May 14
A woman from Desloge, MO was driving without her headlights activated in the 7200 block of Watson Road. After Shrewsbury police pulled her vehicle over, she failed three field sobriety tests and was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Shrewsbury police arrested a Shrewsbury teenager for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in Wehner Park.
A silver 1991 Oldsmobile Delta with Missouri plate UD8X0L was reported stolen in the 10100 block of Gravois Road in Affton.
An arrest was made in a robbery in the 4200 block of La Salette Drive in Affton. The victim saw the suspect leaving an apartment storage room with his ladder.
Sunday, May 15
In the 8100 block of Twin Bridges Trail, an Xbox 360, Xbox games and prescription medication were stolen by an acquaintance of the victim.
A maroon 1993 Ford Crown Victoria with Missouri plate SE6N2Y was reported stolen in the 11200 block of Tesson Ferry Road in Green Park.
Monday, May 16
In the 6000 block of Staely Avenue in Affton, a credit card was stolen and used multiple times by the victim’s daughter.
In the 4300 block of Ventura Place Drive in Concord, tools were stolen from the site of a house that was under construction.
A camera and watch were stolen in a burglary in the 10800 block of Ridge Forest Drive in Affton.
Tuesday, May 17
Shrewsbury police investigated a report of personal checks stolen from a woman residing in the 7700 block of Bellstone Road, related to a case reported last week. She told police that she discovered checks stolen from her checkbook. The suspect used the account numbers of the stolen checks to commit fraudulent activity on the victim’s account.
A vehicle and tool shed was stolen and several tools were stolen in the 13100 block of East Lane in Concord.
Wednesday, May 18
An Affton resident was arrested by for driving while intoxicated in the 7200 block of Watson Road on Wednesday. Shrewsbury police stopped the vehicle for driving 58 in a 40 mph zone. The woman refused to take any field sobriety test or provide a breath sample. She was issued three citations to appear in municipal court.
A Webster Groves man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after he drove his vehicle onto the rear lawn a house in the 7400 block of Kenrick Pointe. The suspect failed field sobriety tests and his breath sample was measured at .208 percent.
Shrewsbury police are investigating damage to the driver side rear bumper of a 1993 Toyota that was parked in front of a house on the 5000 block of Wilshusen Avenue. The suspect vehicle left the area without exchanging information.
Shrewsbury police have identified, interviewed and obtained a warrant for first degree robbery against a South County man that held up the First Bank at 7435 Watson Road on Friday, March 18. The suspect is in custody at the St. Louis County Jail.
A gray 2008 Mazda 3 with Missouri plate D52JA was reported stolen in the 6100 block of Lindbergh Boulevard in Green Park.
A man robbed the Welcome Smokes at 67 Grasso Plaza in Affton at gunpoint. Arrests were made.
Thursday, May 19
A firearm was reported stolen from a home in the 5700 block of Wieland Drive in Oakville. The investigation is ongoing.
Two parked vehicles had their windows shattered at Lutheran High School South in Affton. Purses containing wallets, credit cards, cash, electronics and jewelry were stolen from within.
