Police Find Man Exiting Window of Burglarized Home

The 20-year-old man was charged with second-degree burglary, stealing and resisting arrest.

St. Louis County Police officers met a South County man at 11:15 a.m. Aug. 16—as he was stepping through a window in a home he’d just burglarized, police said.

Dustin Webb, 20, was charged with second-degree burglary, stealing and resisting arrest.

St. Louis County Police said officers saw Webb exiting the home through the window in the 5300 block of Vine Avenue in the Affton area. When he saw the officers approaching, he fled but was caught.

Police said Webb stole three Zona Rosa gift cards, two Best Buy gift cards, a white gold class ring, gold earrings with gemstones and other jewelry.

Bond was set for Webb at $25,000, cash only.
