Police: Shrewsbury Father and Son Kick Each Other's Legs During Dispute

The Shrewsbury Police Department supplied the following information in the weekly police blotter. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

 

The Shrewsbury Police Department provided the following information in its police blotter.

Saturday, Oct. 27

At 1 a.m., a St. Louis County man was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated in the area of S. Laclede Station Road and Weil Avenue. The man had been pulled over for speeding before submitting a .130 BAC, police report. 

At 5:50 p.m., a verbal argument in the 7700 block of Kenridge Lane escalated into a physical altercation, with the son kicking his father in the leg and the father kicking his son in the leg. Both refused medical attention, police report. The case was referred to the St. Louis County Family Services Unit.  

Sunday, Oct. 28

At 3:50 p.m., a Ferguson woman was issued a citation on suspicion of possession of stolen license plate tabs. She had been pulled over on a traffic stop in the area of eastbound Interstate 44 near Shrewsbury Avenue. 

Tuesday, Oct. 30 

At 11:40 p.m., an Affton man was issued citations on suspicion of possession of marijuana after he was pulled over for speeding on westbound Interstate 44 near Shrewsbury Avenue. Police smelled marijuana and found two small bags inside the vehicle, police report. 

Wednesday, Oct. 31

At 11 p.m., a Shrewsbury man living on Weil Avenue was arrested and issued a citation on suspicion of hitting his wife after an argument. 

Thursday, Nov. 1

At 2:30 a.m., an Affton man was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and possession of marijuana in the area of S. Laclede Station Road and Weil Avenue. The man registered a .174 BAC, police report.
