Affton School Board treasurer Thomas Bellavia presents a proclamation from the Missouri State legislature to Dr. Ken Weissflug in honor of his retirement.

As Affton Assistant Superintendent Ken Weissflug gets closer to retirement, Affton School District is honoring his service and his impact on schools, students and staff.

School board treasurer Thomas Bellavia presented Weissflug at Tuesday's meeting with a proclamation from the Missouri legislature honoring him as he retires.

“I’ve enjoyed every minute of it,” Weissflug told Patch last year when he announced his retirement. “It’s changed my life dramatically—all for the good.”
