Volunteers Put Heart Into Affton Fire Reserves

All volunteers are qualified to respond to both fire and ambulance calls.

Twenty-eight people currently serve on the Affton Fire District Reserve Program, the only program of its kind in South County, Suburban Journals reports.

All volunteers are qualified to respond to fire and ambulance calls, and spend at least 36 hours each month at the district's Station House No. 3, according to the report.
