As the final whistle blew, my heart sank. In our last 5 games we've gone 1 and 4, tonight losing to Northwest, a team who we probably should've beaten, what was our problem? The same thing that lead us to a loss against Clayton on Tuesday, deffensive breakdowns. Too many botched passes and not enough shots, but the only thing we can do now is forget about the loss and prepare ourselves for our next match against Trinity at Trinity at 12:30 PM. Coach Pifer's words to us after the game tonight were, "Boys, I'm not mad we lost, I'm mad that we got out hustled." Some people may have given up on this team, but I'm interested to see how well our team will finish and what noise they can make in districts.
