For those of you who are unaware, Christopher Marks was a 7^th grade student here at Rogers Middle School.  Those of us who knew Chris will remember him as a precocious boy with gorgeous dark eyes and a great smile.  He had a great sense of humor, was well liked by his peers and had many friends at RMS. 

 Most of us have been through the loss of a family member or friend and have experienced that pain, hurt and the sense of disbelief.  But when a child dies those feelings become more intense and passionate.  Our students and staff will want and need to grieve the loss of a very special boy.  We are here to support each other and will continue to support the Marks family in any way we can.   

We appreciate the encouragement that we have received from the Affton community.  Please keep the Marks family, our students and our staff in your prayers.  Christopher will be missed by all of us at Rogers Middle School.
