 ner fundraiser\, at Sage restaurant in Soulard\, on Thursday\, November 
 8\, 2012 at 6:30pm.&nbsp\; The Beer Dinner is a five-course\, gourmet me
 al\, specifically designed by the Head Chef at Sage to complement and co
 ntrast with the flavors and preparations of five distinct beers.&nbsp\; 
 Each course will be accompanied by an explanation from the Head Chef\, a
 nd a description of the brewing processes and beer styles from a Beer Ex
 pert.\nThe courses include calamari in aioli sauce\, beer-cheese soup\, 
 grilled salmon over baby spinach\, marinated pork tenderloin\, and choco
 late truffles in a raspberry sauce.&nbsp\; In addition to the meal and b
 eer tastings\, the evening will also include several oral auction packag
 es.&nbsp\; Among the items up for bid are a Rams football signed by Jame
 s Laurentiatis\, a VIP Brewery Tour and Dinner package\, and Blues Ticke
 t packages.\nThe Beer Dinner is a fundraiser for the Affton-based food p
 antry\, a nonprofit agency committed to providing food for low-income fa
 milies in and near the 63123 zip code.&nbsp\; The Affton Christian Food 
 Pantry\, in existence since 2004\, is operated by twelve Affton-area chu
 rches\, and serves approximately 200 families every month. &nbsp\;Seeing
  the need for food assistance grow by more than 20% over the past year\,
  the Affton Christian Food Pantry is hoping this unique fundraising even
 t will increase awareness about its mission\, as well as help the agency
  continue to meet the need for hunger assistance in the Affton area.\n&n
