Affton Early Childhood has announced plans to host a drive in movie night for children on Friday, Sept. 7. The event will be held in the multipurpose room at the Affton Early Childhood Center. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for children to make cars from cardboard boxes saved from the move to the new Affton Early Childhood Center; the movie, Toy Story 2, will begin at 6:30 p.m.
“Rather than recycle the hundreds of cardboard boxes right away,” explained Karin Fleming, Director of Affton Early Childhood, “we thought we’d offer a chance for the children – and the adults – to have some fun with them first.”

More About Affton Early Childhood Center
Affton Early Childhood Center offers preschool education, with programs for a half day, full day and summer full day. All programs use the curriculum Reverse Mainstream. In such a curriculum, students are taught to make choices and to supervise their own behavior. The school allows only Affton residents and has on hand a certified teaching staff, occupational and physical therapist, and speech and language pathologists.

What a great idea!! Kids always love to play with large boxes, so they can now have fun doing that & watch a movie for a fun evening and a chance to see the school.
