Ongoing Illegal Flea Market Cleared from Affton Corner
It was a joint effort, according to an Affton community activist.
An illegal ongoing yard sale/flea market on the corner of Heege and MacKenzie roads (6313 Heege Road) has been disbanded, reports president of the Affton Community Involvement Association (ACIA), Larry Stone.
Affton-Shrewsbury Patch ran an article about the ongoing yard sale.
Stone posted on Patch that Eric Fey, Administrative Assistant to 5th District County Councilman Pat Dolan, the county Neighborhood Preservation Inspector and others all helped to put a stop to the bulk items for sale and trucks parked on the yard on the busy corner.
