As the Page Turns Book Club

Weber Road's adult book discussion group meets monthly to discuss a good read and decide on a book for next month. Get together with your neighbors, talk literature and maybe even make new friends.

This month's featured book is Water for Elephants by Sarah Gruen. The library staff offers a summary: "Ninety-something-year-old Jacob Jankowski remembers his time in the circus as a young man during the Great Depression, and his friendship with Marlena, the star of the equestrian act, and Rosie, the elephant who gave them hope."

Anyone is welcome to read the book and join the discussion. The film adaptation hits theaters at the end of the month, so if you've been meaning to read the novel first, now is the time.
