“To Kill a Mockingbird” Auditions Thursday, Saturday for Affton CenterStage

Parts for all ages are up for grabs.

The Affton CenterStage Theatre Company is holding auditions this week for their upcoming stage production of Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel To Kill a Mockingbird.

Auditions will be Thursday evening at 7 p.m. and Sunday at noon at space #120 in Crestwood Court. Parts are available for two boys and one girl ages 10 and up and for nine men and five women of varying ages.

The audition will include cold readings from the script.

The performance will be held October 14 and 15 at the Robert Reim Theatre in Kirkwood.

To Kill a Mockingbird is a tale of race, prejudice and coming of age in 1930s Alabama. It was adapted for the stage by Christopher Sergel.

Affton CenterStage has been bringing theater productions to Affton residents since 1992.
