Over at the Affton Early Childhood Center children are being exposed to numbers, letters, and shapes. They are also learning how to socialize and to play appropriately! All of the staff over at the early childhood center are busy creating rich, meaningful experiences for the students. Click on the photos below to see all that the students are experiencing!
Also, we had our first parent involvement activity on Friday September 7 and it was a huge success. It was a drive in movie night in the multi purpose room or "rainbow room" as the kids call it. Children used their imagination and creativity and turned moving boxes into cars using paper plates, yarn, pom poms, glue, markers, etc. We had 53 kids in cars and almost 100 people total. Children attentively watched Toy Story 2 and ate popcorn! A fun time was had by all. Scroll down to see pictures from the event.
