Red Racks Closed its Doors on Thursday
Employees were in the dark about the future of the store in Affton.
Red Racks Thrift Store in Affton is closing on Thursday after being in business since spring of 2012.
The whole store is having a half-off sale on Thursday, its last day in business.
Employees at the store Thursday, who didn't want to be identified, said there is a possibility of reopening, but couldn't say when or where. Red Racks' main office couldn't be reached for comment immediately.
"I'm trying to make the best of this," said Nathan Bickler, who lives down the street, as he picked out shirts.
He said he likes the store better than the Creve Coeur location because it has better prices. He said he likes the selection too.
There is also a Red Racks store in Ballwin, as well as Creve Coeur.
