Affton Diner Modifies Its Hours, Open Until 4 on Saturday
The diner will now be open Sunday thru Thursday, 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Friday until 8 p.m., and Saturday until 4 p.m.
When Affton Diner opened its doors for business earlier this year it was open Monday through Sunday from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
As regular customers became commonplace and business picked up, diner management decided to try expanding hours.
In April the diner decied to stay open on Fridays and Saturdays until 8 p.m.
Staffing has made that difficult and the diner has since shortened Saturday dining hours.
The diner will now be open Sunday thru Thursday, 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Friday until 8 p.m., and Saturday until 4 p.m.

Affton Diner Owner Jonathan Aka said the hours should fit every customer's needs.
"Some customers asked for later hours but we can't do every day due to staffing," he told Patch via Facebook.
Aka said many custmers utilize carry out on Fridays and said the later hours are there to accommodate.
