Food Fight: Sweet Tomatoes Takes Top Spot in Veggie Battle

Thanks to voters who participated in this week's South County Food Fight; your votes put the Crestwood eatery on top.

in Crestwood was the clear leader in this week's South County Food Fight, in which we asked Patch readers for their favorite restaurant to get good veggies.

Sweet Tomatoes came in with 51 percent of the votes cast in our friendly food competition. The votes were split among the four finalists.

The other finalists were River City Casino in Lemay with 36 percent;  in Fenton with 5 percent; and Shogun in Concord with 5 percent (not 100 percent because of rounding).

Voting took place from Thursday morning through Friday at 5 p.m.
