Sappington Consignment Store Celebrates First Anniversary
Modern Vintage Decor is taking 20 percent of item purchases this weekend--and is still offering a discount for donations to their Food Outreach food drive.
Modern Vintage Decor, 11433 Gravois Rd., turns a year old on Friday.
To celebrate, the Sappington store is offering customers 20 percent off one item from Friday, March 1 through Sunday, March 3. The discount cannot be combined with other sales or offers.
The resale/consignment shop, which focuses on vintage furniture, home accessories and clothing, has not wasted time giving back to the community. Last weekend the owner hosted adoptable cats from Tenth Life, and donated $130, or 10 percent of the day's sales, to the non-profit.

The store is currently sponsoring a canned food drive for Food Outreach. Food Outreach is a non-profit that provides nutritional support and related services for men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS or cancer in the greater St. Louis area.
Customers who bring in a donation of three or more items will receive 15 percent off any regularly priced item on the day of the donation. Items must be within their expiration date.

Preferred items include:
- Meats (tuna fish, turkey, chicken, salmon)
- Vegetables (corn, green beans, mixed vegetables)
- Fruits (peaches, pineapple, applesauce)
