One Test After Another

It's EOC week at AHS and that only means 1 thing, Cram session!

Once again at Affton High School, it's that time of the year. The time when kids rush to class to try and cram as much information as possible into their brains before class starts and they are forced to take an EOC, or End-Of-Course Exam. Today was a perfect example as more than half of my biology class, usually rushing into class a few seconds before being tardy, was quietly seated in class and were looking over their study packets. This was the example that was set by more than 10 classes today at school. Students got to class early, sat down and crammed or studied for five minutes, then went down to the computer lab or the library to take their EOCs.

This process will repeat over and over and over again, almost seeming to be endless, for about two weeks. Then, the tests will cease, students will stop showing up to class extra early, and everything will go back to the way it was before EOC week came around. This time of the year only comes by once, so you have to be ready to seize the moment and make the most of it. Just can't wait to see how the rest of this week goes.
