And the weather is heating up for the weekend.

- Weather: Sunny with a high around 87, according to the National Weather Service. Clear evening with a low at 68. It stays hot Saturday and Sunday, but there is finally a chance of rain Sunday.
- Affton High School hosting panel of veterans. The panel will consist of veterans from numerous wars, including World War Two and a soldier who just returned from Afghanistan. Armed forces day is Saturday.
