Daily Dose: National Pancake Day

Windy, but nice. Just like National Pancake Day should be.

Happy Tuesday, Affton and Shrewsbury.

  • Weather: The clouds are rolling in, according to the National Weather Service. Although the temperature could reach 58 degrees, there's going to be high gusts of wind.  
  • Today is National Pancake Day and to celebrate, the  is offering every person in America a free short stack of its signature buttermilk pancakes for free.

The popular breakfast restaurant has celebrated National Pancake Day since 2006 and has raised nearly $8 million to support charities in the communities that it operates in.

The pancakes are technically free, however IHOP goers are asked to consider leaving a donation for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and other designated local charities, IHOP's website said.
