Attention Cookie Cravers: Girl Scouts Have a New Cookie

Keep an eye out for your neighborhood Girl Scouts--they'll be knocking on your door soon!

It's that time of year. Girl Scout Cookie sales begin January 12 and a new cookie has been added to this year's lineup.

The Mango Creme, a vanilla and coconut sandwich cookie with a mango-flavored creme filling, joins this year's offering of Thin Mints, Caramel deLites, Shortbreads, Peanut Butter Patties, Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Lemonades and Thanks-a-Lots. Cookies cost $3.50 per package.

Girls will take orders from Jan. 12 until Feb. 3, and cookies will be delivered beginning Feb. 27. If the troops don't find you at home, they will set up booths between Feb. 27 and March 17 in locations around the Metro area.
