Seniors Seek Strength and Healing With Tai Chi
On Wednesdays at the Shrewsbury City Center, seniors learn self-healing through movement in Tai Chi.
Instructor Patty Brukhalter has been teaching the Senior Tai Chi: Self-Healing Through Movement class at for more than five years.
In her class seniors learn relaxation and energy excercises, as well as acupressure and movement exercises.
"I teach kids as well, but they are more focused on the martial arts aspect," said Brukhalter. "With seniors, we focus on self-healing through movement. It's more about how you feel afterward."

Summer session 3 for Senior Tai Chi begins Wednesday, July 27 and runs through September 14. The class is geared toward seniors, but all ages are welcome.
