In honor of the 10th anniversary of September 11th, the theme for this year's Affton Days parade was, "Affton Honors Those Who Served."
Affton schools, businesses, veterans, churches, scouting organizations, and more participated with floats and marchers in the parade.
Cub Scout Pack 821 and Troop 821 won the award for use of the theme of the parade. Cub scout pack 200 won the judges' choice award. Other awarded parade entries included Bayless High School Art Club, for best school float, and Holper's Pest and Animal Solutions for most original entry. Eden UCC won for best church entry.
