HOW TO HELP WORKSHOP

A free workshop for Parents, siblings, friends, coworkers
and neighbors. We often feel scared and sometimes powerless when we suspect
that someone we care about is being abused by their partner. The workshop
highlights how to best support victims, encourage safe choices and identify
“red flags” of potentially lethal escalation. Participants learn the “Ten
Things to Do or Say” and the “Five Things to Never Do or Say” when talking with
a domestic violence victim as well as separate “Do and Don’t” lists for engaging
a perpetrator. The workshop is open to the public and all are welcome. Please
call to reserve a seat (314) 645-4848 by July 11. All fees are waived.
Donations are appreciated.

Woman's Place works to end violence against
women by providing compassionate crisis intervention, facilitating, women's
transition to safety and healing, and educating the community. Visit us at www.womansplacestl.org
