Legendary Jazz Duo Jeanne Trevor and Ken Palmer

Indulge in a rare performance of some of the finest
musicians in St. Louis.  The concert is
free.  Refreshments will be served.  A Love offering will be taken.  All music lovers are welcome.



Ken Palmer is a graduate of the St. Louis Institute of Music (holds
a Doctorate) and also studied and performed for 3 years throughout Europe. He
returned to his home in St. Louis and joined the St. Louis Jazz Quartet. He has
appeared with the St. Louis
Symphony Orchestra as guest pianist with the orchestra under such conductors as
Walter Susskind , Henry Mancini, Richard Hayman and Leonard Slatkin to name a
few.



Known as the first lady of St. Louis Jazz, Jeanne Trevor was
born and raised in Harlem New York City. 
She studied classics to become an opera singer and was exposed to many
of foremost jazz performers at the ApolloTheatre.  Veteran vocalist Trevor has been a fixture on
the St. Louis jazz scene since the early '60s, has acted in the Black
Reparatory Theater and has sung at Powell Symphony Hall and the Fox Theater.
