The Bethlehem Experience

Salem Lutheran Church & School in Affton is once again sponsoring an all-youth
community presentation of The Bethlehem Experience. Guests will be
led by Hannah as they enroll in the census and pay their taxes to Caesar under
the watchful eyes of the Roman guards. They will then enter the city gates of Bethlehem and pass
through the city center --stopping to talk with the shop owners about an
unusual rumor. The tour culminates with news from the shepherds and finding
Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus in the stable behind the Inn.




Tours are offered continually on Saturday, December 14 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and
Sunday, December 15 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the Salem Gymnasium, located at 5025 Lakewood Dr., Affton 63123.
Each tour takes approximately 25 minutes, but wait times vary. There is no
entrance fee but donations will be accepted. Please call the church office at
