Affton USBank Hosts Successful Food Drive
Affton Branch of USBank collects food for hungry residents of Affton.
The USBank branch in Affton, at the corner of Heege and Gravois, showed its commitment to our community this summer, with the creation of quarterly food drives to benefit the Affton Christian Food Pantry.
For three weeks this summer, USBank passed out flyers to all its customers, informing them of the food drivce. Bank employees also got involved, trading food donations for "casual day" and "dress down day" passes.
All told, USBank filled a grocery cart with more than 60 items, which will help meet the growing need for food assistance in the Affton area.
