BBB Invites High School Juniors To Apply For Student Of Ethics Award

The BBB is looking for student who use ethics to make decisions. Three $2,500 Student of Ethics Awards will be given.

High school juniors can get a head start on lining up money for college by applying for the Better Business Bureau's Student of Ethics award.

The BBB fosters trust in business by holding Accredited Businesses to high standards for ethical conduct. We also assist consumers in resolving their disputes with businesses.

The Student of Ethics award recognizes students who apply ethics in their daily lives. Students are asked to submit an essay illustrating how they made a decision using ethics, such as resisting the temptation to cheat on exams.

Three $2,500 awards will be made based on students' essays, academic record, service to the community and leadership skills. Entry forms are available on the BBB website. Entries are due by April 26.

An independent panel will decide on the winners, who will be notified over the summer. Award sponsors include Charter Communications, Brown Shoe, Delta Dental of Missouri, Monsanto, Mungenast Automotive Family and Schnucks Markets.

More information about the awards is available on the BBB website.
