Affton Carjacking, Lemay Child Abuse Are Among Top Police Stories

1) Police: Affton Man Who Sped By Squad Car Faces Fourth Drunk Driving Charge

The man has three previous alcohol-related driving convictions, and his driver’s license had been revoked.

2) Police Investigating Affton-Area Carjacking on Dana Avenue

The armed suspect demanded a woman's car, sped off, led police on a short chase and then crashed the vehicle near the River des Peres, police say. 

3) 

A man who crashed into a telephone pole in the Lemay area admitted to St. Louis County police officers that he’d been drinking.

4) Police: Lemay Man Punched 10-Year-Old in Chest

A Lemay man was charged with child abuse after St. Louis County Police said he repeatedly punched his 10-year-old son in the chest.

A man faced stealing charges after throwing a handgun out a car window as St. Louis County Police pulled the car over.

6) 

A Petsmart employee stole at least $500 in cash from the store by faking merchandise returns, police said.

7) Man Charged With Assault in DWI Collision at I-55 and Bayless

A man faced charges of assault and DWI collision on Bayless Road at Interstate 55. The other driver suffered a concussion and a sore neck, police said.

8) Affton Man Out on Bond Charged With Another Theft Related Crime

St. Louis County prosecutors sought to revoke his bond on a stealing and fraudulent use of a credit card after police said they found Gary Scaglione with a stolen laptop computer.

9) 

A collection of incident reports from the Shrewsbury Police Department included one incident of credit card fraud at Value City Furniture.
