Affton Precinct Police Blotter: Alcohol and Bacon Concealed in Pants

Friday, May 27

A Nintendo Wii console and games were reported stolen by a relative in the 10600 block of Hackberry Drive in Sappington. The investigation is ongoing.

A trailer was reported stolen in the 11300 block of St. Johns Church Road in Green Park.

A leaf blower was reported stolen from an open attached garage in the 10600 block of Meath Drive in Affton.

A family of four was found fatally shot in an apparent domestic incident at 5352 Vine Ave. in Affton.

Saturday, May 28

In the 5400 block of Medalton Way in Oakville, jewelry, CDs, electronics, checkbook and debit cards were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

A suspect was arrested at , 10070 Gravois Road in Affton, after being detained by loss prevention for allegedly attempting to leave the store with alcohol and bacon concealed in his/her pants. This was reportedly the suspect’s third offense.

Sunday, May 29

In the 4700 block of Kingbird Lane in Concord, a flat-screen TV, PlayStation 3 and a video game were reportedly stolen by four acquaintances during a party.

A parked vehicle had its window shattered at Red Lobster, 5733 Lindbergh Blvd., and a purse, credit and debit cards, checkbook, electronics and cigarettes were reported stolen from within.

At an apartment in the 7000 block of Hegee Road in Affton, a man fell asleep, and when he awoke, he reportedly noticed that two bottles of medicine that he had just been prescribed were missing half their contents. Police do not yet have any suspects.

Monday, May 30

At Suntrup Hyundai car dealership, 5926 Lindbergh Blvd., 22 tires were stolen from a storage shed.

In the 4300 block of Ozarkglen Drive in Oakville, several bracelets were reported missing. The victim believes her in-home medical assistant took them. The investigation is ongoing.

Tuesday, June 1

At , 11801 Tesson Ferry Road in Concord, a window was smashed on a parked vehicle and a purse and credit cards were taken.

A home in the 4800 block of Oakbrier Drive in Concord reported $900 missing. The victim has no suspects.

In the 9200 block of Nemo Drive in Affton, a juvenile reportedly stole his/her grandmother’s credit card and used it to make $2,300 in charges. The investigation is ongoing.

Wednesday, June 2

At a business in the 7800 block of Watson Road in Affton, an employee was allegedly found by other employees to be stealing items and selling them to other businesses. The investigation is ongoing.

In a burglary in the 9900 block of Heritage Drive in Affton, a house was entered, and a PlayStation 3 and video games were reportedly stolen.

In the 7400 block of Grant Village Drive in Marlborough, a radio and iPod were reported stolen from a parked vehicle.

In the same block that night, a black 2010 Chrysler Sebring was also reported stolen.

In the 5900 block of Suson Park Place in Oakville, a house was entered and jewelry was stolen.

A silver and maroon 1994 Chevrolet K1500 pickup truck was reportedly stolen from where Reavis Barracks Road meets Interstate 55.

In the 6600 block of Lynbrook Drive in Affton, a purse containing wallet, checks, electronics, glasses, jewelry and debit card was reported stolen. However, the victim later located her purse at home.
