Affton Precinct Police Blotter: Betrayed at Gunpoint

The following information was supplied by the Affton Precinct of the St. Louis County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Friday, June 3

In the 7800 block of Watson Road in Affton, an individual was assaulted by an acquaintance and a necklace and Xbox were stolen.

An apartment in the 9000 block of Laclede Station Road was entered while the resident was taking out the trash. A credit card and prescription medication were stolen from a purse.

Saturday, June 4

A purse containing credit cards, a camera, a wallet and cash was stolen from an outside table at bowling alley, 11801 Tesson Ferry Rd.

Sunday, June 5

At Weekends Only at 6303 Lindbergh Blvd. in Concord, a woman left her purse in the back seat of her car while shopping. When she returned to her car, a window had been shattered, and her purse, containing credit cards and prescription medication, was stolen.

Monday, June 6

In the parking lot at 5529 Lindbergh Blvd., a parked car had its window smashed. A wallet with credit cards and cash were reported stolen, along with miscellaneous tools.

A red 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 truck was reported stolen in the 9900 block of Arthur Lane in Concord.

Tuesday, June 7

In the 9500 block of Antigo Drive in Green Park, a house was broken into and a television was stolen.

A man stolen more than $500 worth of alcohol from the at 5434 Southfield Center. The suspect’s vehicle was later located at his home, and the merchandise was recovered. However, the suspect was gone when police arrived and is currently wanted.

In the 4800 block of Concord Road in Concord, a home was entered and a shotgun, jewelry, electronics and cash were reported stolen.

Wednesday, June 8

A white Ford F450 was stolen in April from the 4600 block of Butler Hill Road in South County. The vehicle was now recovered in East St. Louis, IL, but construction tools that were in the truck were missing.

A victim from the 9000 block of White Haven Drive in Grantwood Village left a cellphone and a wallet with credit cards and cash in the rear of a taxi cab. The victim’s credit card was later fraudulently used in Sauget, IL.

A credit card, driver’s license and cash were reported stolen. The credit card was then fraudulently used in Fenton. The victim believes these items were taken from his wallet while it was in a locker at the YMCA.

A brown and gray 2001 Pontiac Montana van was reported stolen in the 4300 block of Garden Park Court in Affton.

Thursday, June 9

In at 9530 Gravois Rd., a customer stolen an employee’s cellphone while paying for services. The customer was later arrested and admitted to the theft.

A home in the 8600 block of Ivy Avenue was burglarized, and a checkbook was stolen.

By the Outback Steakhouse at 5240 Lindbergh Blvd. in Sappington, a man met an acquaintance to sell his Xbox. The victim was then robbed at gunpoint by the acquaintances friends, who took the Xbox as well as the victim’s iPhone.

Five fish tracking devices were reported stolen by suspect or suspects unknown from boats in the parking lot of The Fishin’ Hole at 8500 Watson Rd.
