Affton Precinct Police Blotter: Car and Home Gunshot Overnight

The following information was supplied by the Affton Precinct of the St. Louis County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Friday, August 5

In the 12500 block of Chardin Way in Concord, jewelry was reported stolen. However, the report proved to be unfounded. The resident claimed in-home health care workers were stealing jewelry, but family members believe the accusation is untrue and due to the resident’s mental condition.

Saturday, August 6

Jewelry was reported stolen in a burglary in the 9900 block of Wolff Drive in Affton.

Another burglary was reported in the 9800 block of Grantview Forest Drive in Affton. A home was entered, and a laptop, Wii, television and jewelry were taken.

A domestic dispute came a head around 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of Tesson Ferry Road and I-270. During an argument, the victim exited the suspect’s vehicle on the side of the highway and tried to run away. Then suspect then attempted to run over the victim with his car.

A white 1995 Dodge Ram was reported stolen in the 10100 block of Sakura Drive in Sappington.

Sunday, August 7

A red 1991 Mitsubishi Eclipse was reported stolen in the 6700 block of Highland House Drive in Affton.

A green 2008 Toyota Camry was reported stolen in the 8000 block of Gramond Drive in Affton.

Monday, August 8

Three men were arrested for stealing cash and GPS units from cars. A witness in the 9100 block of Tiber Court in Affton saw the men looking into his cars Monday evening and called police. The suspects were located and found in possession of the stolen goods.

Tuesday, August 9

Prescription medication was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 4400 block of Hillmont Court.

A suspect was arrested for assault after injuring the driver of another car in a traffic accident at Lindbergh Boulevard and I-55. The suspect was reportedly intoxicated.

Wednesday, August 10

Jewelry was reported stolen in the 7400 block of Granbury Circle in Affton. An acquaintance came to the victim’s home while the victim was gone. The victim’s son let the suspect in. The jewelry was later found to be missing.

In the 10000 block of Musick Road in Affton, neighbors heard gunshots overnight. In the morning, a resident discovered bullet holes in his vehicle and his home. The investigation is on-going.

Thursday, August 11

Catalytic converters were reportedly stolen earlier this month from the 1300 block of Laclede Station Road in Affton.

A blue 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis was reported stolen in the 10700 block of Lavinia Drive in Affton.
