Affton Precinct Police Blotter: One House, Two Burglaries

The following information was supplied by the Affton Precinct of the St. Louis County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Friday, July 15

A citizen walking along Grant’s Trail found a money clip and credit cards. The item was returned to its owner, who did not know it was missing from his truck.

Several turtles were stolen from a backyard habitat in the 10400 block of Sappington Road in Sappington.

Saturday, July 16

Cash and credit cards were stolen in a burglary in the 11000 block of Tesson Ferry Road in Green Park.

Tools and a toolbox were stolen from an attached garage in the 10100 block of Chancy Lane in Affton.

A residence in the 5600 block of Golf Ridge Drive that was on July 9 was burglarized again, this time taking the television bought to replace the one stolen before.

Sunday, July 17

At the at 5434 Southfield Center, a man stole baby formula by force and shoved a loss prevention officer while fleeing.

Several rings and a necklace were reported stolen from a bedroom in the 7600 block of Genera Sheridan Lane. The items were last seen in May. The victim suspects a relative’s former boyfriend, who had visited and been caught stealing at the time.

Monday, July 18

Credit cards, driver’s license and cash were reported stolen in the 10600 block of Grantview Drive in Grantwood Village.

Tuesday, July 19

An incident of domestic assault, in which the victim was dragged by a vehicle, was reported in the 7800 block of Olde English Road in Affton.

A black 2008 Ford F150 was stolen in the 8500 block of Mackenzie Road in Affton, but the truck was recovered.

Wednesday, July 20

A television was reported stolen in a burglary in Worthington Court in Concord.

A red 2000 Chevrolet Venture van was reported stolen in the 5900 block of Suson Park Place in South County.

Drills were reported stolen from a garage in the 8300 block of Julia Drive in Affton.

Thursday, July 21

Cash and credit cards were stolen in a burglary in the 10300 block of Dorenshire Court in Concord.

Paperwork was reported stolen from a residence in the 10700 block Wrenfield Drive.
