Bat Used in Assault, Scissors Used in Robbery, Police Say

The following information was supplied by the Affton Precinct of the St. Louis County Police. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, May 13

  • A white 2006 Dodge Ram pickup was reported stolen in the area of Reavis  Barracks Road and Highway 155.     
  • A camera bag containing a camera and lenses were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 6000 block of Wells Road. 
Tuesday, May 14
  • A bicycle worth more than $500 was reported stolen from the 8300 block of Weber Trail Drive.
  • Jewelry was reported stolen from the 10900 block of Cosmos Drive. It was recovered and a suspect was arrested.    
 Wednesday, May 15
  • Prescription medicine was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 8000 block of Valcour Avenue. 
  • A lawn mower was reported stolen from the 7800 block of Clevedon Street. 
  • More than $500 worth of jewelry was reported stolen from the 4600 block of  Ashley Court. The theft occurred after the victim moved into a new home.    
 Friday, May 17
  • A laptop computer was reported missing from an apartment complex in the 5700 block of Bonby Way.   
Saturday, May 18
  • A firearm, GPS and a phone charger was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1180 block of Tesson Ferry Road.    
Sunday, May 19
  • A firearm, tools and a passport were reported stolen from the 5700 block of Karamar Drive.    
Monday, May 20
  • Purses, electronics and keys were reported stolen from a vehicle at Ronnies Plaza.
  • A victim was assaulted with a bat in the 8900 block of Provo Lane. The suspect was charged with second degree assault.   
Tuesday, May 21  
  • Electronics, jewelry and money were reported stolen in the 8400 block of Gravois Road. 
  • A woman is suspected of asking for assistance, then threatening the victim with scissors and taking money. 
Wednesday, May 22  
  • Second degree domestic assault was charged when a victim was choked in the 8000 block of Troost Avenue.   
Friday, May 24  
  • Jewelry was reported stolen in the 8500 block of Mathilda Avenue.   
  • A first aid kit, stereo, money and sunglasses were reported stolen in the 5400 block of Tesson Parc Court.   
  • An air conditioner was reported stolen in the 200 block of Union Road.   
Sunday, May 26  
  • Electronics and flatware was reported stolen in the 9300 block of  Althea Avenue.   
  • A purse, credit cards, money and a drivers license were reported stolen in the 10300 block of Gravois Road.   
  • Money and electronics were taken by force by a relative and an accomplice in the 8400 block of Rockhaven Lane.
