Man Broke Restraining Order By Screaming Profanities At Neighbors, Police Say

Joseph Schnurbusch has been charged with violating a protection order.

A man has been accused of violating a restraining order against his neighbors by screaming obscenities at one of the residents.

Joseph Schnurbusch, 46, of the 10100 block of Mullally Drive in the Affton area, was charged Feb. 21 with violating a protection order.

St. Louis County Police said the entire family has a protection order taken out against Schnurbush, who was aware he is prohibited from communicating with or disturbing the peace of any of the family members.

Police said Schnurbusch yelled profanities at one of the family members as she was getting into her car on Aug. 17. Police requested a warrant for Schnurbusch's arrest "due to the number of police reports involving the two parties," according to a court document.

Bail was set at $1,000.
