Man Shoplifts 2 Honeybuns, Resists Arrest, Police Say

Thursday, July 4 

Police arrested a man from Webster Groves for Driving While Intoxicated after a traffic stop for speeding 56/40 MPH zone, expired plates and no proof of insurance  at 4 a.m. at S. Laclede Station Road and Kenrick Manor Drive.  The suspect’s breath sample was measured at .171% and he was issued citations to appear in municipal court.

 Friday, July 5 Police were called to Phil Mart, 7250 Lansdowne Ave. at 6 PM, to investigate a shoplifter in progress.  Police issued citations to a South St. Louis City man for Shoplifting (Two Honeybuns), Resisting Arrest and Property Damage 2nd.  The suspect threw a tantrum and dented a police car.  The suspect was transported to a local hospital for a mental evaluation.

At 11 a.m., police arrested a man from South St. Louis City after a traffic stop for possession of heroin and providing false information to police after a traffic stop in the 7700 block of Watson Rd.

 Thursday, July 11

Police arrested an Affton man on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 2 A.M. in in the 7500 block of Kenrick Manor Drive after a traffic stop.  The suspect’s vehicle  failed to yield to a police vehicle and nearly caused an accident.  Police discovered marijuana and drug paraphernalia and issued citations to the driver.
