Man Turns Himself In to Shrewsbury Police Six Months After Accident

The incident was among those the Shrewsbury Police Department investigated in the first week of March.

Friday, March 1

At 8 p.m., an Arnold woman reported that her credit card was fraudulently used to buy and deliver food from Elicia's Pizza in Webster Groves to a Shrewsbury home. 

Saturday, March 2

At 3:15 a.m., an incident of domestic assault occurred in the 7500 block of Triwoods Drive. A man and woman were arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault after a verbal argument became physical, police said. An 8-year-old child was turned over to the Divison of Family Services because another relative could not be found, police said. 

Sunday, March 3

At 11:30 a.m., an Arnold man was pulled over for speeding in the area of Interstate 44 and Shrewsbury Avenue. Police discovered 22 Blu-ray discs inside his vehicle that were reported stolen. An investigation of the recovered stolen property continues. 

Monday, March 4

At 3 p.m., a man from St. Louis turned himself in to Shrewsbury Police for leaving the scene of an accident. The original accident occurred in Sept. 2012 near the area of Interstate 44 and Shrewsbury Avenue. The suspect had abandoned his vehicle after the accident, police said.
