Man Wanted in Connection With Home Burglary on Grove Avenue

The following information was supplied by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Sunday, April 15

At 11:20 a.m., a homeowner in the 7800 block of Grove Avenue reported a burglary. The suspect is described as a 30-year-old white man, standing 5-foot-9 with a medium build and short, black hair. He wore a white polo shirt with stripes, blue jeans and white shoes. He left the area in a black Toyota Camry with a gold pinstripe and loud exhaust.

There was no forced entry, nothing reported stolen and no one was injured. Police have identified and are seeking a suspect for questioning. Police believe he's also responsible for other home burglaries in the city.

Wednesday, April 18

A home health care worker at was questioned after prescription medicine was reported stolen from two apartments at 12:25 p.m., police report. Formal charges are pending further investigation.

Thursday, April 19

Police are looking for a blue Pontiac Grand Am with tinted windows and a temporary license plate tag in the rear windshield. The vehicle left the scene of an accident at 1:15 p.m. at 7400 Murdoch Avenue, police report.

A motorcycle reported stolen in July 2009 was discovered in north St. Louis County at 11:44 a.m. The 2007 Yamaha motorcycle was originally reported stolen from Diehnwells Drive in Shrewsbury. Police are continuing an investigation.
