Police Blotter: Stolen Cars and Domestic Incidents

Here is the weekly summary of incidents handled by the Shrewsbury Police Department and the Affton precinct of the St. Louis County Police.

Sunday, April 10

In the 10200 block of Marble Arch Lane in Affton, a girl was arrested for cutting up her mother’s belongings and threatening to kill her mother with scissors.

In the 11300 block of Five Oaks Parkway in Concord, a house was found burglarized by the house sitter. The television had been taken.

An 8-month-old child sustained a broken leg in Fawnwood Drive in Concord. There are no suspects, and the investigation is ongoing.

In the 9400 block of Green Park Gardens Drive in Green Park, $20 and a debit card were stolen out of a woman’s purse while she was outside with neighbors, and her apartment was unlocked.

Monday, April 11

Shrewsbury police are investigating a delayed third-degree domestic assault that took place in the 7700 block of Kenridge Lane. There was a verbal argument, and the wife accused her husband of pushing her out of a room. The woman injured her forearm when the man tried to shut a bedroom door. Police forwarded the report to the local prosecuting attorney for review.

Tuesday, April 12

At Dobb’s Tire and Auto Center, 11844 Tesson Ferry in Affton, an unidentified man went to the shop after hours and took his vehicle without paying for services and parts.

A white 1995 Lincoln Towncar with Missouri license plate ME1J3R was reported stolen in the 9400 block of Laverne Place in Affton.

A lawn mower and trimmer were stolen from a trailer parked in a driveway in the 4900 block of Hummelsheim Avenue in Affton.

A wallet with credit cards and cash were stolen from an unlocked card in 10500 block of Crecelius Drive in Affton.

Wednesday, April 13

The door handle of a 2005 Lexus was damaged when it was parked in front of Powerhouse Gym, 7435 Watson Rd. in Shrewsbury.

A purple 2000 Dodge Caravan with Missouri license plate AE5U2P was reported stolen in the 9000 block of Laclede Station Road in Affton.

A revolver was reportedly stolen last month from an unlocked vehicle in the 10100 block of Grant Meadow Lane in Affton.

A home was entered, and a gold necklace, TV and Nintendo Wii were stolen in the 4900 block of Tiemann Avenue in Affton. The victim suspects her nephew.

Thursday, April 14

Police are looking for a black 2001 Dodge Stratus with Missouri plate HC7B1E that struck the rear bumper of a 2005 Subaru in the 7500 block of Murdoch Ave. at 5 p.m.  A white woman initially stopped to exchange information, but she did not provide insurance information and continued eastbound on Murdoch Ave.

In the 9800 block of Ione Lane in Affton, a house was forcibly entered, but nothing appeared to be missing.
