Police Find Bags of Marijuana Near Interstate in Shrewsbury

See what the Shrewsbury Police Department has investigated so far this month.

Shrewsbury Police responded to the following incidents, according to the weekly police blotter:

Saturday, Feb. 9

At 2 a.m., police found two plastic bags of marijuana on the Shrewsbury Avenue overpass near the exit ramp from Interstate 44. Police found the bags while assisting an Overland man, whose vehicle had run out of gas. After a fingerprint analysis by the St. Louis County Police Crime Laboratory, police identified the Overland man's fingerprints on the bags. Police are seeking the man for questioning.

At 1:30 p.m., police responded to a disturbance between a girlfriend and boyfriend at McDonald's at 7259 Watson Road. The man had an outstanding warrant from St. Louis County and was arrested.
