Police: Intoxicated Shrewsbury Woman Left Scene of Car Accident

Read through the lastest incident reports from the Shrewsbury Police Department.

The following information was reported by the Shrewsbury Police Department:

  • Police were called to investigate an accident at Ravensridge Road and Laclede Station Road on Dec. 8 at 3:40 p.m. The driver of one of the vehicles left the scene of the accident. Police located the suspect vehicle and arrested a Shrewsbury woman for leaving the scene of the accident and driving while intoxicated.  The suspect’s breath sample was measured at .239 percent and she was issued citations to appear in municipal court.
  • Police questioned a Fenton woman about leaving the scene of an accident at Laclede Station Road & Suffolk Avenue on Dec. 7 at 5:50 p.m.  A Saturn side-swiped a Hyundai and continued north on Laclede Station Road. 
  • Police stopped a 1999 Ford Escort for driving with only one headlight in the 4100 block of Shrewsbury Avenue on Dec. 11 at 1:10 a.m. Police discovered marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. The Richmond Heights woman was issued citations to appear in court.
  • A window was shattered and the stereo was removed from the dashboard of two vehicles (a Nissan Pathfinder and Ford pickup truck) parked to the rear of the post office, 7217 Watson Rd. Police are looking for a white four-door vehicle missing a front passenger side hubcap. It last seen leaving the area about 12:45 p.m. towards the 7100 block of Weil Avenue.
